The North American Misfits (N.A.M.) are an "Outlaw Country" band based in Nashville, Tennessee, with roots extending all across the continent. The Misfits' music can best be described as a contemporary take on the classic Country and Southern rock sounds of such legendary acts as Johnny Paycheck, Johnny Cash, and Waylon Jennings, all the while channeling such diverse acts as Lenny Kravitz and Jimi Hendrix. N.A.M. is a band poised to carry its own unique blend of music to the top of the country and rock & roll charts. With the impending release of their debut EP, industry insiders expect N.A.M. to make a definitive musical explosion that will make people stand up and take notice. Though the band is still in its infancy, the substantial experience of the players creates an amazing blend of unforgettable music and an incredible live show. The band has already been recognized by Nashville Radio as a top upcoming outlaw country band.
N.A.M. is pleased to announce their invitation to play at 2019's Woodstock Experience, with such acclaimed bands as Jefferson Starship, Canned Heat, Johnny Winter, Ten Years After, Iron Butterfly and Badfinger.
N.A.M. will be performing on August 11, 2019 in West Jefferson, North Carolina
